Alright, like I said before... no more videos... man, I didn't think it would take my life to post some freakin' videos... ok... maybe my computer is slow... but come on... it's can't be that old...
Ok... maybe i'm a little too excited here... but you have to understand... I'm a cook... a mother... a person basically with no life... that has decided to make her own path... to do things I haven't done before... yes there are those with the privledge to do these things on a daily basis... but me? lil ol' me? I suck ok! I don't get to do this often... and I said... damn it... damn it life! I'm goin' to grab you by the horns... stick my financial worries in the toilet bowl and flush it! lol
And I did, and I believe I have reach the second level of my Jorney Of A Foodie Fool... sniff... sniff... I wanna cry...lol... not really.... ok ok... picture time.
Ok so the first person I get to see in the Celebrity Chef Seminars was Tyler Florence... yeah, i know, i'm not the greatest with the camera... but look closer... if you sqiunt your eyes... you will see Tyler Florence...lol.
And of course There is Guy Fieri. (he came on after Tyler).. I already told you guys about him.. he was amazin' to watch... very funny and energetic... Check the last blog, it's all on him :)
There goes Morimoto... just poppin' out... out of no where, just droppin' by to say hi... how amazin' is that... Morimoto for those who don't know... is just only one of the best chefs out there... he is from The Original "Iron Chef"!
After I tour inside the huge white tent... filled with many major miami restaurant booths and huge row of wine, spirits and liquour tasting selections I went crazy... almost hit every booth... tasted things I never had... like Spanish Wines... with spanish grapes I've never heard of... I'm definetly am goin' to have to order a bottle from Wine.com... it's was really good, I find their wines to be sweet.... I have more stories of the restaurant booths... many great restaurants were there... like this indian joint called "Guru"... "Touch- Restaurant & Louge" which is supposed to be an eclectic kinda place in rockin' south beach, "Brosia" which has a subtitle hook that always keeps their name in my head "A Mosaic of Meditterranean Cusine" which is located in the Miami Design District... "Van Dyke Cafe" their menu I would say is a clash between old euro, italian pasta joint and american apps kinda place... just a mixture of choices that can't really go wrong with a group of friends goin' out to eat on Lincoln Road... another great street filled with endless great eateries. Plus other great companies where there as well, that you have to try... it's a must... I believe most of whom I'm goin' to mention are items you can get at any major gourmet store or get mailed to you :) Fist and foremost... I will never forget this delicious enjoyment... that was filled with comfort, something you can enjoy on a bad day or any day for a fact "Enstrom's Almond Toffee" hey, this is not just any toffee this is covered in awesome dark chocolate... it's like heavean. Next.... you have to try... "Curry Simple"... the name says it all... delicous blends of already made curry sauces... like green, red and yellow or Massaman Curry and even Coconut soup... you can find it at Whole Foods an Wild Oats or just buy it online... I know... i love to make my own thai green curry chicken with coconut rice... but when you are in a hurry, and want something fast on a tiring day... you gotta try this :) Now this was a liqueur that was absolutely delicous... something my dumb butt would never think of... eventhough I love Chai... "Voyant Chai" it's a mixture of Rum... dutch cream, black tea, premium spirits, vanilla and spice blends that make the fragrant flavors of Chai... oh my gosh... it's was awesome... now... imagine this Chai Liqueur baked in Molten Chocolate Cake with Almond Ice Cream... yeah... now we are talkin'...Now... "Jennifer's Homemade" this is a women that just inspires me... she started out in her own home... makin' these delicious baked goods and have been in Food & Wine's Magazine... go gurl! It was good, I tried the Chocolate Chunk Biscottis... and last but never least... "Ines Rosales's Sweet Olive Oil Tortas" these were definetly interesting... it's from spain.. they are like a crispy flour type tortilla fried in olive oil and sprinkled with sugar... i loved it! They say you can serve it with Cheese and Expresso... hmmm...interestin' combination... but i'm willin' to try that out... i don't know why but i keep getting the urge to try it out with some soft brie cheese...it should go well with this sweet crisper!
Yeah... it was the Ace of Cakes Crew! I got a chance to be one of the ppl in the audience to ask them a question... I stumbled of course with.. soundin' like freakin' goofy... uhh...huh...huh.. you guys are awesome...lol... I asked Geofrey... where he got his architectural skills from... well, he used to be an architecture....But you konw what was so lame? I think I called him a different name... how lame... uh... i'm so stupid... stupid... stupid! Ok now that's over, they were pretty cool though... afterwards I took a pic with them :) I don't know where Duff was... I think he ran... I guess he was still tramatized by bein' mugged by carzy fans...
So it was basically almost six o'clock the end of this lovely adventure... i went towards the exit of the event... and saw the Delta Sky 360 booth... they were servin' cosmopolitans.... yeah baby! I had a chance to enjoy a Pomegranate Cosmopolatin... it was sweet... but not to sweet and delicate... not to strong on the booze... what a great way to end a awesome event... I had the best time ever! Ended up on the street of Collins Avenue... where alot of the great restaurants are in South Beach :) I passed by this place called Hotel Victor... one day i'm goin' there, I will eat there... and enjoy it there... And I will let you know all about it... but for now... I shall just dwell on this magnifecent experience that I will never forget :)
